Hi! I’m Caitlin.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LF61511322). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western Washington University and completed my Master of Arts in Couple & Family Therapy at Antioch University in Seattle. I have supported couples, individuals, and families in group practice, private practice, and community mental health settings. I have also worked with individuals who live with addiction, and those that love them, at an in-patient facility.
I was born and raised in the Seattle area, and I love the coziness that comes with the rain. I enjoy spending time walking through nature, as well as city landscapes, with the goal of enjoying various vistas. Some of the most impactful scenes for me are ones where there is a LOT of sky and a distant horizon. I am still in awe of the phenomenon where the smaller I feel in the expanse of nature the more quiet my mind becomes. I feel held by the bigness of it all.
The experience provides me a perspective that I am inspired to bring to my work. It drives me to help others feel more safe and secure when exploring the vastness of their internal worlds. When people begin to discover the unconscious ways their unique inner landscapes were built, it provides an opportunity to build a life with more intentionality and less stress and/or fear. They experience the great impact a new perspective can bring.
On the journey of introspection, it is my goal to be an interactive, curious, encouraging, and gently-challenging witness. The type of witness who will help you sort and make sense of the many thoughts and sensations that can feel like “too much” to navigate alone. I will guide from behind as you become more empowered to carve the path toward a more confident and joyful version of you.
